Zoey Duncan Last night’s graduation ceremony for Fort Frances High School students concluded with a speech from valedictorian Halle Bazinet. Her speech drew laughter from her peers as she recounted high school memories and took a few good-natured jabs at some teachers’ idiosyncrasies.

Zoey Duncan Dakota Smith led dancers and students from around the district during a pow wow at Robert Moore School yesterday to celebrate the end of the school year. Students and teachers alike enjoyed being part of the celebration during a number of inter-tribal dances, as well as a barbecue.

Peggy Revell Fort High students taking Grade 10 Academic math buckled down this morning in the small gym during the third-last day of final exams before summer holidays kick off. Graduation, followed by the annual “chem-free” grad party, will take place this Thursday.
