Heather Latter Twins Jake and Jenna Clendenning battled it out with foam weapons Saturday during a training session of the local Belegarth Medieval Combat Society at the Sorting Gap Marina here. A promotional elimination tournament also was held that afternoon.

Peggy Revell On behalf of the 908 Rainy Lake Air Cadet Squadron, Oryn Albanese accepted a cheque for $3,000 from Mayor Roy Avis during yesterday evening’s council meeting. The town presented a total of $37,500 in funding to nine different community groups on behalf of the Moffat Family Fund.
