the OPP Yesterday around 4:50 a.m., Thunder Bay OPP responded to a motor-vehicle collision involving a Chevrolet Uplander and a tractor-trailer on Highway 11/17 near Pineview Road. The driver of the Uplander, identified as Matthew Gibbons, 17, of Thunder Bay, was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
