Duane Hicks Local historian Merv Ahrens pored over a selection of photos by pioneer photographer William Tener yesterday at the Fort Frances Museum. Ahrens is creating a book showcasing some of Tener’s photos for “Canada 150.” See story, more photos on page A5.

Nicholas Donaldson Aboriginal musician and educator Shy-anne Hovorka (far left) met with young musicians at the Couchiching multi-use facility last Wednesday. It was an opportunity for the youths to learn about the music industry, as well as ask questions before Hovorka’s concert there later that evening.
