Angela Halvorsen, with Y.T.B Honeymoon Registry, offered information to those attending the 2008 Bridal Show last night. The event, hosted by Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, featured many local services to help brides with their wedding plans, including music, flowers, and photography. There also were plenty of prizes up for grabs.

Diane Maxey directed the Borderland Choral Bells during a performance at the Kiwanis Club’s annual Good Friday breakfast at La Place Rendez-Vous. The sold-out breakfast also featured Rev. Jill Warner of International Falls as the guest speaker.
Luella Kellar addressed those gathered at the United Native Friendship Centre on Portage Avenue on Good Friday before the start of the “Biimosetaa Walking Together to Overcome Racism” event. The walk, which was initiated by the local Right Relations Circle, was followed by a celebration at the Nanicost gymnasium.
