The Fort Frances Service Canada Centre for Youth (SCCY) is now open to the public.
The office, located inside the post office, is ready to assist businesses and young workers with their summer employment needs.
Service Canada Centres for Youth link youth and employers.
They provide young people with job postings, interview advice, résumé building, and job search strategies, and employers with a location to post job openings.
SCCYs also provide valuable information on health and safety in the workplace.
This year, employers interested in using our services, and youth looking for summer employment, can visit the Fort Frances SCCY weekdays between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
You also can call 274-7724, fax 274-7858, or e-mail sarah.christie@servicecanada.gc.ca
Job postings are available online at www.jobbank.gc.ca under “Student Job Search,” “Ontario,” “Kenora and Area,” and then “Fort Frances.”
