The 4-H United Beef held its first meeting on Monday, May 11, at the home of Tami and Robin LeBlanc, with all 12 members in attendance.

The club welcomed two new members and two new leaders, and introduced this year’s topic, “Bull Power.”

Members reviewed important dates, held elections, and expanded their knowledge of bull Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) through informative videos, bull sale catalog reviews, and group discussions.

The meeting concluded with a look at the LeBlancs’ new bull, where members discussed traits that would benefit the herd, followed by snacks and refreshments.

Everyone is excited to continue learning about bull power and looks forward to upcoming meetings and the fair of course!
