Who will be the 30th Citizen of the Year here?
The Town of Fort Frances once again is putting out a call for nominations to honour a citizen who has made an impact on the community.
“The nomination process is set to open and will close on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m.,” town clerk Lisa Slomke said at Monday night’s council meeting.
“The award is presented annually to a resident of the Town of Fort Frances who’s made a positive contribution to our community and its citizens,” she noted.
Nomination forms can picked up at the Civic Centre or downloaded off the town’s website at www.fortfrances.ca
“Hopefully we get lots of applications,” said Slomke.
