Time to ‘spring forward’

A sure sign that spring is just around the corner is the turning of our clocks ahead one hour this weekend.
Although the change officially takes effect at 2 a.m. on Sunday, it’s best to switch all your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday night in order to make sure you’re not late for any events on Sunday.
Hopefully, this also means the end of our snow and the sign of green leaves on tress soon.

A reminder that March Break for district students runs next week (March 12-16).

Congratulations to Kelsey and Richie Wieringa on the birth of their first child, Chaz William Todd.
Proud grandparents are Todd and Tammy Mclean and Gerald and Colleen Wieringa.
Great-grandparents are Roy Allan, Bill and Carol Mclean, and Sylvia Beadle.

Sympathy to the family and friends of Helen Hughes.
Your community is thinking of you at this sad time.
