Tickets for gala likely to go fast

Press Release

The Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s special events committee is excited to announce that tickets now are on sale for its upcoming fall gala.
This magical event, entitled “Making Magic for District Health Care,” will take place Saturday, Oct. 14 at La Place Rendez-Vous.
A total of 180 tickets are available at $55 each. Tables of eight or 10 also are available.
The funds raised at this year’s event will go towards the purchase of new beds for the Emo, Rainy River, and Rainycrest sites.
These beds are ergonomically and therapeutically designed for long-term care residents.
The special events committee has been working hard these last few months to ensure those attending this year’s gala will have a fun-filled evening while supporting the needs of those residents in long-term care.
We encourage those attending to come prepared to be wowed by our special guest entertainer, “The Great Gregoire, Magician Extraordinaire,” who is renowned for his comedy magic show.
The evening also will include auctions, a penny table, fun games and ways to win prizes, and a grand prize draw.
Those wishing to donate items to any of the above are encouraged to contact the committee members listed below.
Opportunities also are available for businesses and organizations to promote themselves through various sponsorship packages.
The Riverside Foundation and the special events committee always are amazed and extremely grateful for the generosity and support given to all their fundraising events.
We hope to see our past and perhaps new patrons at this year’s gala.
Our event always has sold out quickly and with only 180 tickets available, we encourage you to get your ticket without delay.
For tickets and/or sponsorship information, contact Sandy Beadle (274-4801) or Janice Cousineau (274-6911).
For donations to the silent auction, contact Livia Lundon (274-7285).
For donations to the penny table, contact Rochelle Duchnicki (274-6581) or Karen Woods (274-1450).
Let’s come together to “make magic” for district health care!
