The Fort Frances Times is striving to bring community news to its readers but we can’t be everywhere at once.
That’s where you come in.
It’s now easier than ever to submit your photos and stories to the Times thanks to a new feature on our website.
Go to www.fftimes.com/content/submit-story, or click on the “Submit a Story” link under “Contact Us” at the bottom of the homepage, to find an easy-to-use form.
Fill out your name and contact information, then write your story in the space provided.
Be sure to include the “who, what, when, where, and why” in whatever you write.
For example, you might want to tell us about a fundraiser held by a service club.
Who staged the event? What was the event? When did it happen and where?
Why was the event held and how much money did it bring in?
If you need a little more guidance, refer to stories you’ve seen printed in the Times to get an idea of what we’re looking for.
The stories don’t have to be long.
Of course, sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
Sending a photo to us is a snap–just fill out the same form as you would for a story and upload a photo.
We support the following file types: JPG, PNG, and GIF.
As with a story, be sure to include enough information with your photo that we can print it with a caption detailing where the photo was taken, who’s in it, and what they’re doing.
One more thing. When you’re filling out the “Submit a Story” form, make sure you read the “Assignment of Rights” disclaimer and click on the “I agree” box.
The Times reserves the right to not publish submitted stories or photos.
