The second season is calling and the defending champions can’t wait.
How I Set Your Mother finished the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League’s regular season with a flourish last night, grabbing the maximum six points to finish in first place overall with 109 points.
No Diggity, which spent most of the season in third place, staged a late push the last few weeks to rise to second with 96.
Kiss My Pass, despite a six-point night yesterday, wound up in third with 90.
Bump It Up (75) finished in fourth place while and Gillons’ and Let’s Talk About Sets settled for a fifth-place tie (68).
Scared Hitless (65) came in seventh, followed by The Inseiners (48), One Hit Wonders (46), and Serves You Right (31).
Arm & Hammer (23) finished in 11th place, with Rockstars (11) remaining in the basement despite earning three points last night.
The playoffs begin next Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fort High and St. Michael’s School.
The matchups to be announced in the coming days.
