Dear sir:
I would like to bring to your attention a special anniversary that will take place on June 15.
Fifty years ago, Fort Frances and surrounding communities converted their telephone system to dial operation. I was one of the installers that worked for Bell, and installed the new phones and lines throughout Rainy River District.
I have many fond memories of Fort Frances and the kindness the local people showed to all the Bell Telephone employees. I am retired now and enjoying the good life.
