Those wanting to give the young soccer player or players in their house the best chance to succeed on the field should get online on Family Day.
Registration for the Thunder Bay Chill ‘Kickstart’ youth development satellite camp set for April 3 at Fort Frances High School begins on Monday at 3 p.m. Central Time by going to www.thunderbaychill.com.
The camp will be split up into two sessions, with players ages 4-8 participating from 10 a.m.-noon, while those aged 9-13 will be on the floor from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Youth players will learn basic skills specific to passing, shooting, dribbling, receiving and team play in a fun game atmosphere.
From these camps, players can be identified and invited to attend additional training with the Chill Reserve Program based out of Thunder Bay.
Cost of the camp is $35, with participants also receiving a T-shirt.
