Share your stories on customer service

Local residents are being urged to share their stories about excellent customer service they’ve received at district businesses.
The Rainy River Future Development Corp. has launched its Customer Service Celebration–a new take on an annual tradition.
“Traditionally every year, the RRFDC has done something to encourage improved customer service in the district, and that has been everything from providing ‘mystery shopper’ service to retailers to a competition to awards,” noted RRFDC consultant Tannis Drysdale.
“This year, we decided that instead of having winners and losers, we’d celebrate Customer Service Champions in the Rainy River District,” she said.
“And do sort of a fun thing with the community where we give equal opportunity to celebrate what’s best about Rainy River District.
“We know that ‘bad service’ stories get told over and over, and we want to try and do that with ‘good service’ stories,” Drysdale explained.
“We want to celebrate and encourage the positive.”
The public is urged to share their positive customer service stories by going online at www.rrfdc.on.ca and filling out a form there.
“You can tell the story anonymously, or with your signature on it, of something great that happened to you as a result of the service you had in Fort Frances or Emo or Rainy River or any place in-between,” Drysdale said.
A link also is located on the www.fftimes.com home page.
If you’d prefer to fill out a paper form, drop by the RRFDC office at 601 Mowat Ave. (above the credit union).
All stories must be received by Feb. 18 and will be posted online at www.rrfdc.on.ca
All Customer Service Champions also will be recognized in the Fort Frances Times and Westend Weekly.
