Press Release
Plans for the final reunion are being made for July 22-23 for anyone, especially from the years 1951-53, who attended Fort Frances High School-not just graduates but everyone interested.
We’ve had calls from out-of-towners from B.C. and eastern Canada asking for a chance to meet old friends and share memories.
For all those out there who remember the days of our movie theatres, bowling alley across from the post office with pin setters, the jukeboxes, the Point Park dances, the intramural sports, and house Beta, Sigma, Delta, etc., playing football at the Bronco stadium in the Falls because we had no fields, and lastly the big fire of ’51, where students had to take their classes in the basements of local grade schools until the gym and science rooms were restored.
Wouldn’t it be fun, for definitely the last time, to reminisce about the good old days.
E-mails have been sent out (from five years ago) but we’ve lost at least a dozen “friends” since the last reunion. So we are asking our locals to contact their friends and we will e-mail or send out letters to reach as many as possible.
If you are interested, contact Carol Lyons at (807) 274-3050 or Chris Lowe at (807) 274-6591 and we will make sure you get a registration form.
All walkers, wheelchairs, canes, hearing aids, and bifocals are especially welcome–we are having a live band and entertainment.
It should be a hoot!
