Fort Frances OPP and North West Region Crime Unit are investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place at the Mohawk gas station here early this morning.
Around 1:40 a.m., a lone subject entered the station brandishing a knife while demanding cash from the clerk, police said.
The subject left the station on foot a short time later, they added.
No one was injured.
Police are seeking public assistance in this case.
