Rolling sevens is a sign of good luck at the craps tables.
But four teams in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League were content with hitting sixes last night during matches at Fort High and St. Michael’s School.
The quartet that garnered the maximum half-dozen points available included league-leading How I Set Your Mother, who boosted their league-leading total to 53.
That’s What She Set lost a bit of ground, nabbing five points last night to remain in second place with 43.
Bump it Up, meanwhile, used its perfect night to move into a tie for third with No Diggity (40).
Fifth-place Scared Hitless (34) needed all six points to stay one up on Gillons’ (33), who also went undefeated yesterday evening.
Let’s Talk About Sets slipped to seventh place (29) while We Could Carry Less remains in eighth (18).
Rounding out the standings are I’d Hit That (12), Wild Sets (10), Rockstars (seven), and Sloppy Sets (two).
Action resumes next Thursday at 7 p.m.
