Members of Curves and Taggs converged on a loose ball during semifinal action of the Borderland Soccer Association women’s playoffs last night. Taggs narrowly won the game 2-1 on goals by Celia Berry and Timea Fleury. Lauren Pierce had the lone marker for Curves. Taggs moves on to face top-ranked Gillons’ in tomorrow’s league final at 6:30 p.m. at the newly-anointed Struchan Gilson L. H. Soccer Pitches. In men’s action last night, International Travel Services survived a scare from the under-18 La Place Rendez-Vous Voyageurs by a 1-0 score on a goal by Dave Chambers. ITS moves on to face top-seeded Dominos in one semifinal tonight, while Emo clashes with Pharmasave in the other men’s match-up. The men’s championship goes tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.
