Slushy, slippery roads yesterday afternoon led to a collision at the intersection of Second Street and Frenette Avenue, which saw the stretch of road shut down as emergency crews attended the scene. Freezing rain turned many surfaces around town into impromptu skating surfaces, and drivers are urged to drive to conditions when applicable. The forecast is calling for continuing periods of snow today and into the weekend.
