St. John’s Anglican Church truly was transformed into a “Winter Wonderland” on Saturday. The event was lavishly decorated by Pattie Anderson and Karen Sockolotuk, with the true showcase being this scene depicting two women in vintage clothing getting ready to ice skate. The display featured “snow,” lamp posts, old-fashioned sleds, and even an “ice pond.” The event also featured Gord McTaggart dressed up as a dapper doorman, as well as tea, hot chocolate, fancy sandwiches, and dainties, as well as goods for sale.
