Denise Miault prepared to deliver a rock down the sheet while her husband, Peter, held her wheelchair in place as the Kenora Curling Club’s wheelchair curling team took to the ice this morning against local men’s senior teams at the Fort Frances Curling Club. The wheelchair rink, led by skip Wayne Ficek and also including Ron Lentz at lead, finished as the runner-ups at the provincial championships last month in Kenora.
