There were plenty of activities on offer for people of all ages over March Break this year, an indication things are slowly returning to “normal” in the district. Couchiching First Nation held a Winter Carnival full of dog sledding, bannock on a stick, and even some puppy snuggles. Meanwhile, the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre had plenty of daily activities throughout the week, including tower building, colouring, and a chance to spend some time with their Nintendo Switch video game system. Over at the Fort Frances Museum Cultural Centre, students were able to drop in throughout the week to contribute to an art wall display. The museum also pulled out some of its Ukrainian dis- play pieces for a special show and tell tea on Saturday afternoon, something the museum is hoping to turn into a regular event.
