Kathryn Fischer, 12, worked on her welding skills Thursday during the “Mind Over Metal” camp offered by the Seven Generations Education Institute, in partnership with the Canadian Welding Association Foundation and Rainy River District School Board. Nineteen youths aged 12-15 spent the week learning about basic welding techniques, theory, and safety, as well as creating projects like cowbells and business card holders.
