Grade 5 students from St. Francis School had a chance to weigh in on what they’d like to see in the new school that will consolidate St. Francis and St. Michael’s when Rick Boisvert, centre, director of education of the Northwest Catholic District School Board, and Superintendent of Education Brendan Hyatt stopped by yesterday. The students had been working on writing persuasive letters that they sent to Hyatt, which included a wish list of lockers, a cafeteria, and even a swimming pool. They also asked plenty of questions about the process, which still is in its very early stages.
