Zeila Dal, left, Mark Fitzgerald, Natalia Saciuk, and Maxten Hanson—from Lisa Cousineau’s Early Years class at St. Michael’s School—showed off some of their “Earth Day” creations yesterday, including a painting of the Earth and decorated grocery bags. Several of the classes there were decorating brown paper bags that later will be used by Safeway. The school also participated in Lights Out Canada, which saw the classes turn out their lights while spending the day learning about climate change and how youth can take action.
