The return of warmer weather following months of heavy snowfall means only one thing: lots and lots of water. Unlucky streets with low spots like this portion of First Street East have veritable lakes of standing water as the still mostly frozen ground refuses to take any in, and snowbanks still lining the roads clog storm sewer grates. Drive slow through these puddles, if only for pedestrians’ sake.
