With restricted water usage for most of this summer on many residents’ minds, Hailey Clendenning, left, and Alyssa Spence, of the J.W. Walker School Environmental Club, pitched a water conservation plan involving rain barrels to town council last night. Council applauded the students for their proposal, and referred it to the Operations and Facilities executive committee for its recommendation.
