Kim, left, and Sabrina Miller stopped to give their five-month-old puppy Buffy a drink of water during the “Purina Walk for Dog Guides” on Sunday. The local Lions and Leo clubs organized the event, which raised $650 to train guide dogs for the blind. The inaugural event had walkers go from Pither’s Point Park to the Sorting Gap Marina and back.
