Kayla Allan and Kelsey Copenance, along with other Rainy River First Nations band members, braved the wind and snow yesterday afternoon to show support for the anti-drug and substance abuse efforts within their community. A similar sobriety walk was held today from Couchiching First Nation to the UNFC Circle of Life Centre on Mowat Avenue as part of National Addictions Awareness Week. The local Substance Abuse Prevention Team also will be holding events Wednesday at Fort Frances High School.
