A group set out on a 5K walk along the waterfront here Saturday as part of the Kenora/Rainy River Districts Alzheimer Society’s annual “Walk for Alzheimer’s.” The event, which started and ended at the Sorting Gap Marina, brought in $7,368, with more money still trickling in. A second group set out simultaneously in the opposite direction to complete a two-km walk. A barbecue was held at the marina afterwards and prizes were awarded.
