About 50 people gathered at the Sorting Gap Marina for the annual “Walk for Alzheimer’s” on Saturday, hosted by the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River District. The walk began at 11 a.m. following a quick warm-up, with participants having the option of walking one km to the hospital and back or two km to Point Park and back. The top team fundraisers this year were Team RJA ($1,120) and Team Mosbeck ($620) while the top two individual fundraisers were Elaine Allen ($660) and Beatrice Galbraith ($350).
