Les Marshall, public relations director for Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario divisions of the Salvation Army, spoke on the importance of volunteerism during a volunteer appreciation dinner Friday at the former St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church here. Several dozen volunteers enjoyed a Chinese food buffet dinner as a show of thanks.
