Mitch MacDonald, who finished second in season six of “Canadian Idol,” performed for family, friends, and fans yesterday evening at La Place Rendez-Vous. The Cape Breton native, who has quite a few local relatives, came here to visit and play a couple of gigs, including a show after the Nick Mainville Sr. Memorial golf tournament this past Saturday.
