Award-winning First Nations’ author Larry Loyie, alongside his partner writer and editor, Constance Brissenden, paid a visit yesterday to J.W. Walker School here to speak with students about writing, as well as the four books he has written. Hailing from Alberta, but with ties to Fort Frances, Loyie is spending the week visiting area schools.
