Prolific First Nations actor Adam Beach shared his life story of tragedy and triumph yesterday at the Fort Frances Tribal Area Health Services Behavioural Health Services’ conference at the Nanicost grounds. Beach was the keynote speaker at the conference, which is meant to celebrate cultural resiliency and promote healing from the effects of family violence through teachings and ceremonies provided by elders. The conference continues through Thursday.
