JW Walker student Jaden Cooper’s poster is one of the local winners in the Fort Frances Lions Club’s annual peace poster contest, and it has been sent on to be judged at the “district” level. The other winners are Kaitlyn Gerhard (Crossroads School), Kasey Kreger-O’Neill (Robert Moore) and Ciara Mainville (St.
Francis). The four winning posters, as well as the runners-up from all the schools, are on display at the Fort Frances Museum until the end of the month. An appreciation night will be held Nov. 18 at the Legion.
