A local fisherman pulled a three-headed walleye from an undisclosed location on Rainy Lake last month. The fish, weighing in at 3.5 lbs, was caught using a “Lucky Strike” lure and put up quite a fight. Needless to say it was very difficult to pull up the hole as one head or the other kept catching on the sides. Authorities say the specimen is the first of its kind they’ve seen but it won’t be the last.
