Sarah DeGagne, prenatal nutritionist at the UNFC, was giving out pancake breakfast boxes yesterday during the annual free breakfast the UNFC holds with partners in the district to raise awareness on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs). Inside the bag was also an information sheet on FASDs written by the CDC to give residents more information about the dangers of drinking alcohol during the nine months of pregnancy.
