Kids participating in the “Open Streets” activities on Front Street in Emo last Thursday were asked “How low can you go?” as April Simmons, left, co-ordinator for the Emo “Best Start” hub, and assistant co-ordinator Barb McQuaker held up the limbo bar. “Open Streets” temporarily closes the street to vehicles to encourage pedestrians to get out in the sun and have fun cycling, playing, or socializing. Other afternoon activities included a hula-hoop contest, dancing, and games.
