Sean Twomey, vice-president of Repap Resources Group, spoke about the company’s plans to purchase the Resolute Forest Products mill in Fort Frances during the Rainy River District Municipality Association’s annual general meeting Saturday in Stratton. If a deal is negotiated between the two companies, $71 million will be spent on the facility to start up wood processing operations and create more than 600 jobs altogether.
