This westbound empty pulp truck went off Highway 11/71 shortly after 6 p.m. yesterday and hit a pole near Highway 611 North. Police said the accident occurred when two tires weighing about 100 pounds each came off a loaded eastbound pulp truck, causing the driver of the westbound one to lose control. No injuries were reported, but there was no word this morning if charges would be laid.
