Calving season this year came with a big surprise for Emo farmer Wayne Flatt as one of his cows gave birth to identical male triplets on Monday. While twins are fairly common, triplets are an extremely rare event, with a one-in-105,000 chance of occurring—a number that doesn’t even factor in all three calves surviving, or being identical and the same sex. All three calves and the mother are reported to be healthy and doing well.
