Local volunteer Marjorie Katerick, right, who has been nominated for the national Therese Casgrain Volunteer Award, drew the name of the lucky winner for the Kiwanis “Trip of the Month” draw for August this morning at International Travel Services. Kiwanis member Irene Laing then announced that Kathi Gagne will be heading to Veradero, Cuba—a prize worth $4,600. Next month’s trip is to San Antonio, Tx.
