A near capacity crowd was assembled at the Townshend Theatre on Friday night, for the opening act of the 2022-2023 regular season of Tour de Fort. The Trews Acoustic Trio took the stage for a pared-down version of the Canadian rock band. The group hails from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, but is currently based in Hamilton, Ont.
Next up on the regular passport tour is Matt Dusk Sings Sinatra, hitting the stage on November 25, followed by Amanda Rheame on January 6, Suzie Vinnick and Lloyd Spiegel on Valentine’s Day, February 14, The Derina Harvey Band on April 20 and Bywater Call on May 12.
