Shoppers Drug Mart employee Heather DeGagné put another “leaf” on the ever-growing display for the “Tree of Life” campaign, which ends this Friday (Oct. 10). The campaign is a fundraiser where shoppers are asked to purchase a leaf ($1), maple leaf ($5), or apple ($50) to place on the large tree showcased on the store’s front window. The item can be personalized with the donor’s name or in memory or honour of a loved one, with all proceeds going the Riverside Foundation for Health Care. Last year, Shoppers Drug Mart matched the funds raised by the community and more than $1,700 was donated to the Foundation.
