Anneda Chabot, a member of this year’s “Relay for Life” committee, adjusted the leaves on the “Tree of Hope,” sponsored by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Br. #29, during the “Relay for Life” kick-off event here Saturday. Also in the courtyard at the Fort Frances Museum were members of the Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Club, with Guoiji the Dragon, as well as an information booth and a “Relay” team selling goodies. Inside the museum, meanwhile, was an open art studio and drop-in jigging lessons. There also was a perogie dinner special at Flint House, followed by a performance by Nick Sherman at From the Grind Up that evening.
