Carol Stephenson, of the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study, presented to a room full of teachers from across the country at La Place Rendez-Vous on Thursday to discuss “How an Elementary School Responded to the TRC’s Calls to Action.” The presentation was part of a three-day teachers’ conference entitled “Gah-izhi-izhitwaawaad anishinaabeg: Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning.”
