CN crews worked on clearing the tracks at the McIrvine Road rail crossing this morning following a derailment that occurred around 11 p.m. last night. According to the OPP, a collision between two trains caused the derailment of five cars. There were no reported injuries, spills or leaks. The crossing at McIrvine was expected to be closed until the late morning, though the OPP is warning motorists to expect delays throughout the day as maintenance crews continue to work on the tracks and trains start to move through town again.
