Barwick Blue Knights’ shortstop Vaughan Wilson stepped on second base to record an out during his squad’s 3-1 win over the Fort Frances Braves in the third-and-deciding game of the Rainy River District Fastball League championship series last Wednesday night at Couchiching. Wilson scored what ended up being the winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning to help Barwick secure it first league crown since 2015.
